Courtney and Tim first met in Rome, of all places. As luck would have it, neither of their schools had a direct program in Roma so Courtney and Tim both enrolled with a study abroad catchall program called IES. Courtney remembers meeting the handsome devil, Tim, on the first day of school. Wearing khakis and a button down on one of the hottest days of the year, Tim caught her eye with his impecable style and inability to judge the weather. Together they explored Europe and fell in love. 

Upon returning to the states, they were met with quite a conundrum! Courtney was in California and Tim was in Ohio! To the chagrin of every boy at Santa Clara, Tim somehow managed to convince Courtney to stay together and they conducted one of history’s longest long distance relationships. 2 years between California and Ohio, then, when Courtney moved to NYC and Tim to Baltimore for their first jobs, they did a kind of medium distance thing. Then, finally, Tim got his act together and moved to NYC and the rest is history!
