An axe or a sword you require noble traveler? I know just the place. Deep within the mystic Carmel woods lies the Forge in the Forest. Certainly, you can obtain a goblet of stout mead but the real value lies in the heart of the fire… Come, and join us on Friday night at 9 o’clock for a cocktail before our wedding day and see for yourself…
Don’t be confused by the fact that the first and only mention of this pillar of Californian history on Google Maps is its (rather underwhelming) gift shop. The Carmel Mission, also known as Mission San Carlos Borroméo del río Carmelo, is the second mission built in Upper California. In its nearly 250 years of existence, it has never seen an event as delicately spectacular as the Wedding of Courtney and Tim. Critics are already talking about it and it hasn’t even happened yet. Go figure.
The ceremony will begin promptly at 3pm. We encourage all guests to arrive by 2:45pm to get good seats:)
If you are into golf, you’ve probably seen this place before. If you are into gorgeous scenery, you have definitely seen this before. We are so fortunate to get to invite you all to a reception at this stunning club. Big thanks to Uncle Danny!
The reception will immediately follow the ceremony. See you there!
We plan to head down to the beach the morning after the wedding. Grab your favorite breakfast snack, beach blanket, towel or chair and join us!! We will meeting at Carmel Sunset Beach at 10am. There is a parking lot located at the end of Ocean Street. We hope you all can make it to wish us off on our honeymoon!
